America250 programming from Mason Arts this fall Katarina Benson Wed, 07/01/2026 - 14:31 Body George Mason University is excited to showcase programming and events this fall that celebrate America250 and the dedication, service, and artistry of the people of the United States. Beginning with the fall 2026 semester, visual and performing arts events will take place across all three of George Mason’s Northern Virginia campuses. Two concerts and three exhibitions will take place on George Mason campuses. Photo by Evan Cantwell/Office of University Branding Three fine art exhibitions will showcase artwork from veterans, as well as their family members and caregivers. Three different but interrelated exhibitions will be on view from August through early December in Arlington, Fairfax, and Manassas, Virginia. The U.S. Army Bands will present two concerts at the Hylton Performing Arts Center . Both of are free and open to the public. The U.S. Army Field Band Concert brings a variety of ensembles and musical styles for an expansive and exciting performance on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 3 p.m. The U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” will perform A Salute to Veterans concert that combines music and storytelling to honor the veterans who served our nation on Friday, November 6, at 7:30 p.m. To learn more about these events and other America250 programming from Mason Arts, please join our mailing list.
