7 shot, mostly teens, in West Garfield Park

Seven people were shot early Sunday in West Garfield Park, Chicago police said. Most of the victims were teenagers.
A 17-year-old girl was shot in the chest around 1:25 a.m. in the 3800 block of West Maypole Avenue, police said. She's in critical condition at Stroger Hospital.
About nine minutes later, at least six people were shot on the same block, according to police. Those victims were all in good condition at Stroger and Mt. Sinai: two 17-year-old boys, an 18-year-old woman, an 18-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man.
No one has been arrested, police said.
