2026 Emmy Nominations Announced: “The Pitt,” “Hacks” and “Paradise” Among Top Nominees

The Television Academy has announced the nominees for the 2026 Emmy Awards, honoring the year’s best television shows and performances.HBO Max’s medical drama “The Pitt” scored big with 25 nominations, including nods for Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor for Noah Wyle. The series is among the favorites after winning five Emmys last year.Apple TV’s “Pluribus” is also competing for Outstanding Drama Series, with Ray Seehorn nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress. Hulu’s “Paradise” is another drama contender, with Sterling K. Brown nominated for lead actor.The drama category also includes “The Diplomat,” “The Gilded Age,” “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” “Slow Horses” and “Your Friends and Neighbors.”In comedy, HBO Max’s “Hacks” earned 24 nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series.
