Yankees second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. exits game against Twins with toe injury
Chisholm was examined by team physician Dr. Christopher Ahmad and X-rays were negative. Chisholm fouled off a pitch from Joe Ryan in the fifth and winced on the swing. After taking a timeout, Chisholm hit a fly ball to right field on the next pitch.

Minnesota Twins All-Star center fielder Byron Buxton left Sunday’s game against the New York Yankees following the first inning after reaggravating a hip injury. Buxton reached on an infield single to the third base side of the mound and was thrown out trying to steal second base on a headfirst slide during a full-count pitch that Kody Clemens struck out on.
