Dermatophilosis cases among MSM in Stockholm suggest sexual transmission of traditionally zoonotic pathogen

This rapid communication from Eurosurveillance describes four microbiologically confirmed cases of dermatophilosis (caused by Dermatophilus congolensis) among men who have sex with men (MSM) in Stockholm, Sweden, between March and June 2026. All cases occurred in MSM using HIV pr
