Avi Loeb Appointed to Lead Federal UAP Science Advisory Council
Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb has been appointed to lead a new UAP Science Advisory Council, formed at the request of the White House and multiple federal agencies including the Pentagon's AARO, ODNI, FBI, and the broader intelligence community. The council is part of President Trump's initiative to declassify federal files on unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs). It will report to a higher-level UAP Governance Board that first met in mid-June.
