How Dutch poets ensure no one dies forgotten: The Lonely Funeral Project

The Lonely Funeral Project, launched in the Netherlands by poet Frank Starik in 2002, ensures that people who die without anyone to attend their funeral are honored by a poet who writes and reads a poem based on whatever is known about their life. The project began with poet Bart
