South Park's season premiere drops Trump for Chinese e-bikes and a new title, while the gaming world delivers a sequel to a cult classic and a deep dive into a genre-defining RPG. The day is split between the return of a long-running satire and a steady stream of game announcements and retrospectives.
The big entertainment news today is the return of South Park, which has moved on from its Trump-era targets.
Deadline reports South Park's season 29 premiere retitles itself 'South America' as a jab at Trump's geography, and the satire now targets Chinese e-bikes and corporate influence instead of the former president.
Bleeding Cool's review notes the premiere also includes meta-commentary on the show's recent Emmy win, confirming a tonal shift away from direct Trump mockery.
Several gaming stories broke today, from a surprise sequel announcement to a look back at a genre-defining title.
