Prime Video has canceled the animated series "Kevin" after a single season, co-creator and executive producer Aubrey Plaza announced on Instagram. The show, which Plaza created with her then-boyfriend Joe Wengert, centered on the adventures of their real-life rescue cat, a tuxedo cat named Kevin.
"I am sad to announce that Prime Video has decided not to renew our animated series 'Kevin' for a second season."
Plaza shared the news directly with fans, expressing disappointment but holding out hope for the series' future. According to Deadline, she added that she hopes the show "will find a new home elsewhere," signaling that the team may shop the project to other platforms.
