Walter Parazaider, a founding member and multi-instrumentalist (saxophone, flute, clarinet) of the legendary rock band Chicago, died on June 17 at age 81 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was with the band from its 1967 inception until stepping away in 2018 due to health issues, performing thousands of concerts, appearing on nearly all of the group's albums, and being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
