Tesla's European sales are recovering, growing 47% in April 2025 compared to the same month last year, but Chinese competitor BYD is outpacing it significantly with 115% growth in the same period. BYD registered more than twice as many cars as Tesla in the EU, UK, and EFTA countries in April. Year-to-date, Tesla's European sales are up 46% while BYD's have grown 144%.
