Summary
Music Decoy is a macOS utility that prevents the Music app from automatically launching when the Play button is pressed on a keyboard or when Bluetooth headsets connect. The app intercepts the play command and does nothing, effectively silencing the unwanted Music app launch. Version 1.1 adds the ability to configure Music Decoy to redirect the Play button to launch a different media app instead, such as Spotify, using Terminal commands.
