Summary
Shearwater, the Austin indie rock band, has announced their new album *The New World*, following up 2022's *The Great Awakening*. Two singles, "Daydream Unbeliever" and "More And More," have been released. The album is self-released with Secretly Distribution after six albums on Sub Pop and Matador, and was crowdfunded and self-produced. Frontman Jonathan Meiburg comments on the album's themes of reckoning with a world that feels like it's on fire.
