Tries hard. Doesn't quite make it out of the oven in one piece.
Summary
ReactOS, the open-source project aiming for binary compatibility with Microsoft Windows, has achieved experimental support for running on 64-bit ARM (ARM64) architecture. The milestone was reached thanks to months of work by an open-source contributor. The experimental ARM64 build has been demonstrated booting as a QEMU virtual machine on an Apple ARM64 processor. ReactOS has traditionally supported i586 and AMD64 architectures.
