Summary
Models.dev is an open-source, community-contributed database that aggregates AI model specifications, pricing, and capabilities from various providers. It aims to solve the problem of fragmented AI model information by providing a single, accessible database. The project also offers an API for programmatic access, using Model IDs (consistent with AI SDK identifiers) for lookups, and provides provider logos as SVG files. It is used internally by the opencode project.
