Maggie Gyllenhaal and Jesse Eisenberg to Receive Karlovy Vary President's Award

Maggie Gyllenhaal and Jesse Eisenberg will receive the honorary President's Award at the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, running from July 3 to July 11. Deadline reported that Gyllenhaal will be honored at the opening ceremony with a screening of her film *The Bride!*, while Eisenberg will receive his award later and present *The Double*. Variety noted that festival artistic director Karel Och praised both actors for their "trans-Atlantic sensitivity" and ability to bridge New World and European cinematic traditions.
