Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to a fire and explosion at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites in north Lincoln on Monday evening. Battalion Chief Jim Bopp reported that flames were visible upon arrival, spreading up the exterior of the building into the attic space. A primary search was conducted across all three floors of the hotel.
