Summary

British adventurer Karl Bushby, a former paratrooper, has been denied permission by Eurotunnel to use the Channel Tunnel's service tunnel to complete his 28-year, 36,000-mile walk around the world. Bushby set off from Chile in 1998 and has reached Belgium, expecting to arrive in Calais, France, in September. Under the terms of his challenge, he cannot use any form of transport.
