Joe Alwyn and Hugh Laurie have joined the cast of 'Legacy of Spies,' an eight-part espionage thriller series based on John le Carré's 'The Spy Who Came in from the Cold.' The BBC/MGM+ co-production features Alwyn as MI6 agent Jim Prideaux and Laurie as his boss Control, joining previously announced cast members Matthew Macfadyen (George Smiley), Charlie Hunnam (Alec Leamas), Daniel Brühl (Josef Fiedler), and Dan Stevens (Bill Haydon).
