Summary

Biography of Toshifumi Suzuki (1932-), Japanese businessman who served as Chairman and CEO of Ito-Yokado Group and its subsidiary Seven-Eleven Japan. Born in Nagano prefecture, he graduated from Chuo University in 1956, worked in publishing sales until 1963, then joined Ito-Yokado Co. He became the first president of Seven-Eleven Japan in 1973 and remained with the Ito-Yokado group through 2004. He was voted the fifth most respected business figure.
