Evolution Mail Vulnerable to Privacy Issues
By

Crisped on the outside, thoughtful enough on the inside.
Summary
Evolution Mail is currently vulnerable to two privacy issues, linkPreconnect and dnsLink. Despite being aware of one of the issues for at least 15 months, no action has been taken to address it or warn users. The developers have not implemented a warning in the client and are delaying the fix indefinitely.
Key quotes
· 2 pulledThey refuse to even put a notice in the client warning people to not rely on the 'Load Remote Content' feature for privacy.
If/when these two issues are fixed, I still cannot recommend using Evolution Mail.
