Summary
Carol Adlam is creating a graphic novel titled "Eliza. Being a True History of Eliza Raine," inspired by the life of Eliza Raine, a British Indian woman who was Anne Lister's (Gentleman Jack) first "wife." The feminist publisher Virago will publish the work in summer 2028, after acquiring world all-language rights from Adlam's agent.
