First Chinese Art Satellite, SCA-1, Successfully Launched into Orbit for Star Chain of Arts Project
The first Chinese art satellite, SCA-1, part of the Star Chain of Arts Project, was successfully launched into orbit using the Long March 3B carrier rocket near Yangjiang, Guangdong. The satellite's solar panels deployed normally.
