Costa Rican filmmaker Paz Fábrega has secured additional funding from Uruguay's PUA program via co-producer Federico Moreira of La Mayor Cine for her fourth feature film "To the Future" ("Al Futuro"), a hybrid documentary currently in post-production. The film, produced by Fábrega's Temporal Films in Costa Rica, will be pitched at the curated Last Push session of the ECAM Forum co-production market taking place June 9-11 at Madrid Matadero. Fábrega made history as the first Costa Rican filmmaker to win a VPRO Tiger Award at Rotterdam for her debut "Cold Water of the Sea" in 2010.
