Summary
Life Biosciences has dosed the first human patient with ER-100, a cellular rejuvenation therapy designed to reverse age-related sight loss by restoring damaged optic nerve cells. The drug, previously shown to restore vision in monkeys, is now being tested for safety in approximately 18 adults with glaucoma and NAION over the next year. This marks the first time a cellular rejuvenation therapy claiming to reverse aging in cells has been tested on humans.
